John Cooper is a native Texan and a licensed architect with an expertise in healthcare design. Upon graduation from The University of Texas at Arlington, John began his career at CRS in Houston. The firm, specifically the Hospital Group; is credited with the creation of the now-common process of space programming. This principle remains the foundation for John’s attitude towards architecture.

Programming, as John continues to espouse; is not just about developing a list of rooms to be built. Programming is listening and understanding.”….only through listening, listening to really understand; can we serve our client’s needs”. The best architects are the ones that listen best.”  John has over three decades of experience and over $1B in completed projects in place. He leads the firm’s practice of Senior Living Projects. John understands designing for people who need assistance. The difference now is that not just the infirmed need assistance. Through John’s leadership, TTA provides all components of the senior living continuum.
